CAN EXES BE FRIENDS?
The School of Life asked us to direct this animation exploring the difficulties people have with remaining friends when their relationship has ended. We wanted the characters to be relatable to everyone, so I chose to create a big hairy monster and a vulnerable little circle to represent the two sides of the relationship. We’re especially pleased with how this turned out, and love that the ending manages to create a genuine pang of heartache, echoing the loss that you may feel when a relationship ends.
